Walk a mile with the Chairman

Businesses and charities are invited to hit the road with Council Chairman Chris Lloyd on 18 May as he walks over 25 miles around the Three Rivers district.  Chris’ walk is in aid of his three chosen charities, Watford and Three Rivers Mencap, Three Rivers CAB and Lynda Jackson Macmillan Centre. The walk is an opportunity for Chris to thank the people of Three Rivers who make the community special as he completes his year of office on the following day.

People can sponsor Chris at It is over 25 miles and the aim is to raise £3,000.

Chris will be starting and finishing at his home village of Croxley Green on Monday 18 May and he will be taking in the main towns and villages of the district through the day.

Organizations can send a mobile number or email address to the Council and they will be given an approximate time to meet in their town.  Chris' support team will then text people when he is 15 minutes away and they can join him for a section of the walk and feature in his live blog messages and photos.
