Rickmansworth's annual Festival proves to be a huge hit once again

24th May 2016

ricky-festival-2016-jpg.JPGThe annual Rickmansworth Festival, held on 21-22 May, has been hailed as a triumph again this year.

Thousands flocked to the annual Rickmansworth Festival over the course of the weekend to enjoy a host of attractions and exhibits including canal boats moored along the canal towpath, live bands, Morris dancers, fairground rides, trade and charity stalls and more.

Donations from this year’s festival will go on supporting the work of the organising charity Rickmansworth Waterways Trust, who tell local children all about canal history through their education programme "Learning at the Lock" and maintain the former working boat "Roger" moored up next to Batchworth Lock.

The Rickmansworth Festival, is organised by Rickmansworth Waterways Trust and Three Rivers District Council.
