Three Rivers pensioners chance to have their say

Three Rivers is welcoming residents to the Pensioners’ Forum on 23 October 2015, from 2-4pm in the Penn Chamber at Three Rivers House in Rickmansworth. 

sticky-ricky-buns.jpgOn the agenda will be AGE UK Herts, who will be providing information and advice for Pensioners on claiming benefits and entitlements. The next presentation, will involve Cinnamon Square, the local bakery who will be talking about being an award winning local business, baking and working with the local community. They will also reveal the inspiration behind their famous Ricky Sticky Bun.

dance-studio.jpgIn addition, a representative from Herts Older People and Physical Disabilities team, which assesses and manages care services for older people and people with physical disabilities will be attending. Lastly, Hertsmere Leisure will be promoting their programme of activities aimed at adults aged 50+.

The Pensioners’ Forum is a great way for residents in the district to meet and have their say on a range of issues and find out what’s happening in their area. It is also a good chance to have some tea, cake and a chat! The ever-popular forum has a high recorded attendance and they are able to listen to the wide variety of speakers at Pensioners Forum, and then hold a question and answer session with the speakers.
