Travel with Confidence - assurance mark for drivers and operators
Travel with Confidence - assurance mark
The 'Travel with Confidence' mark indicates that the taxi/private hire driver has gained safety accreditation through completing a tailored programme of support to keep customers and workers safe from Covid-19.
Drivers who display the mark will be expected to demonstrate high levels of cleanliness, infection control and understanding of how to reduce risk to customers. Drivers should be able to explain their individual business risk assessment to you if you ask and they should also explain the ways in which they reduce risk, such as what cleaning products are used and how often.

Compliance checks are made by the council that issued the driver with his licence. This ensures that the Travel with Confidence standards are maintained and you can be confident that the driver is taking steps to minimise the risk of infection.
Booking accredited vehicles
Please support the businesses that have gone that extra mile to keep passengers safe, by looking out for the mark on the transport providers vehicles.
When booking a private hire vehicle for a journey you can ask the operator company if they have an accredited driver available if that would be your preference.
Accredited taxi drivers can be found on ranks, and accredited private hire drivers can be booked through private hire operators.
How to become accredited
If you would like to get accredited or complete the online training, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
You will then be sent a unique code which will ensure the training is free. Please note that the code is only valid for 7 days so please make sure you enrole and take the course as soon as you receive the code.
Once you have completed the training you will be issued with an electronic certificate. Please send your certificate to email@example.com and we will send you the information about how to join the Travel With Confidence scheme.

If the licence has been issued by Three Rivers District Council please see our complaints page.
