Revenue & Benefits Apprentice (18 month Fixed Term contract to start in December 2020)

Salary: £23,978 (inc of Local Weighting)

Hours: 37 per week, with 1 day per week off to attend college or study

Location: Will usually be Watford Borough Council, Town Hall Watford. However, in line with current guidelines this role will be predominantly remotely until at least January 2021.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for an apprentice to join our busy and fast moving Revenues and Benefits team.

You will learn how to deal with all aspects of the recovery of Council Tax, Business Rates, Housing Benefits Overpayments & Sundry Debts, by telephone, through email or correspondence and maintain a high level of customer service, balancing this with a need to maximise collection.

You will also gain a qualification in Business Administration Level 3 from West Herts College.
