Mill End Youth Project Support Worker


£10.50 p/h based on experience.
Friday evenings 5.30pm-8pm (except Easter, summer and Christmas holidays)

RESPONSIBLE TO: Play Development Officer, Lead Youth Worker

Mill End Youth Project is looking for an enthusiastic individual with experience of working with children and young people. You will need to be flexible in your attitude and approach as you will be required to work with a varying age group.

The youth project works with young people from 8 – 14 years of age within the Mill End area at William Penn Leisure Centre. The project offers various activities for the young people to get out in to their community and enjoy meeting other young people of a similar age. Your role will be to support their involvement in the range of activities and to promote a relaxed and informal setting.

This position requires a flexible approach to working with young people ranging from age 8-14 years and to be a good role model for the young people to learn from.

You will receive full training and induction manuals detailing specific procedures.
