Yoga in the Park
Experience tranquillity and improved flexibility with our Yoga sessions. Perfect for all levels, these classes are set in some of the wonderful park environments across Three Rivers.
Mondays and Wednesdays from 8 June - 9 September.
Mondays 6pm-7pm @ Stones Orchard, Croxley Green. Meet by the pedestrian gate from The Green
Wednesdays from 6pm-7pm @ the Aquadrome, Rickmansworth. Meet in the dog-free picnic area opposite the cafe in the park.
Cost: £2.50 per person
What do I need to bring?
Please come dressed appropriately for the weather in something comfy and that you can freely move in. You must bring a yoga mat / towel / picnic blanket with you to exercise on. We recommend you bring a bottle of water with you as well.

Run in partnership with Mums of Steel, our Moving Mums programme gets mums and babies to enjoy the benefits of exercise together.
Classes are taught by qualified post-natal instructors and are fun for both mums and babies. It brings mums to a great social environment while still being able to bond with baby and get fit!
Starting 1 June - 31 August.
Stroller Strength Fitness, Mondays from 10am – 11am @ Rickmansworth Aquadrome meet by the café.
Bring Baby Yoga, Tuesday from 2pm - 3pm @ Leavesden Country Park meet by the café.
Cost: £2.50 per person
What else do I need to know?
- Specific exercises focus on stomach muscles and pelvic floor work.
- Classes are available for all levels of fitness.
- You should have approval from your midwife or doctor and be at least 6 weeks post-natal for a natural birth or 10 weeks post c section to participate.
- Babies need to be at least 6 weeks old and up. We accept children up to 2 years old.
- For our outdoor classes where a stroller is involved you will need to make sure baby is content to sit in a stroller for at least an hour.
- Your baby is your priority. If they become fussy you are encouraged to take your time and soothe your baby. Do not worry about disturbing other classmates as they are all mums in the same boat.

Park Tennis
Serve up some fun with our Parks Tennis Programme! Whether you're a complete beginner or looking for a fun family activity, we've got something for everyone. Join our adult beginner sessions, youth coaching, or family tennis fun — all in a friendly, welcoming park setting. No experience needed, just come ready to play!

Join our FREE 6-week Armchair to Active Programme to make Nordic Walking work for you.

Our 8-week beginner's running course focuses on building stamina, improving technique, and preventing injury.
Under the guidance of a trained instructor and in a friendly group environment, you’ll start with short, manageable sessions, such as 20-30 minutes of alternating between walking and running.
Gradually increasing your running intervals while maintaining good form. All sessions incorporate a proper warm-up and cool-down routine, including stretches to enhance flexibility.
Starts Friday 19 June, 10.30am at Rickmansworth Aquadrome. Meet outside the Cafe.

Croxley Skate Jam
Prepare to be wowed by kicks, flips, whirlybirds and other amazing tricks at the annual Sk8 Jam at the Croxley Green Skate Park.
Skateboarders, BMX and scooter riders can wow the crowd at the free event - with the chance to win fabulous prizes kindly sponsored by Croxley Green Parish Council.
The event, which is organised by the Three Rivers District Council Leisure Team and has been running for more than a decade, will take place in Baldwins Lane on COMING SOON.
You don’t have to know how to skate, scooter, or BMX. You can still enjoy the atmosphere by watching participants, listening to music, or by having a go yourself as the event will also provide free skate lessons before the event officially starts.
The jams are friendly competitions and anyone can enter and enjoy this action sport of skill, balance and nerve. The event is hosted by Three Rivers District Council and ABC Skateboarding, who will be judging the competition and handing out the prizes.
Prizes will be awarded to the winners in a range of categories and age groups. The competitions are free to enter but all under 18s must wear helmets.

Tennis is a fantastic activity to help both your physical and mental wellbeing and Three Rivers has a number of park tennis venues ideally located to provide the perfect environment to enjoy playing tennis with friends or family.

Multi Use Games Areas (MUGAs) provide an attractive and functional space for children and adults to play a variety of sports. They are free of charge to use and open seven days a week. You can find them at:

· YMCA Woodlands, Leavesden Country Park - Floodlit MUGA with markings for tennis, netball and 3G surface for football (managed by One YMCA. Charges may apply).

All the new outdoor fitness zones have been designed to offer free fitness for all and offer a mix of robust, varied equipment, such as magnetic bells, pull-up bars, and suspension trainers, to suit people of all ages and abilities.

Skate Parks
Whether you're a seasoned skateboarder or just starting out, our skate parks provide the perfect setting to hone your skills. parks are designed to offer skaters of all ages and skill levels a chance to experience the excitement and offer a challenge.

· Croxley Skate Park, Baldwins Lane, WD3 3LE - This concrete park features a half pipe, flat banks, quarter pipes, fun box, spine, half pyramid, jump box, grind blocks and rails.
· Denham Way Playing Fields, Maple Cross, WD3 9SL – A new site with pump track and manual meter
· Romilly Drive, Carpenders Park, WD19 5EW - Raised bowl with a spine, 2.2m high tombstone extension, mini ramp section, hip, and 0.5m high pump bump.
· King George V, Mill End, WD3 8JN - A concrete skatepark on a concrete base. It features a back-and-forth layout quarter pipe to flat bank, with rail and grind box in the middle.
· Manor House Grounds, Abbots Langley, WD5 0DD - A concrete skatepark configured in a back-and-forth layout. The park features quarter pipes and flatbanks of varying sizes at each end, with a manny, hubbas, kicker and funbox in the middle.
· Scotsbridge Playing Field, Rickmansworth, WD3 1AT - A concrete skatepark featuring a funbox with flatbank and step set with rail, a grind box, low flat bank and two free-standing rails.
· South Oxhey Playing Fields, WD19 4LT - Newly refurbished for summer 2023. Come and take a look at the fantastic new skate park in South Oxhey!
Parkour Areas
Parkour consists of obstacle courses, running, climbing, swinging, vaulting and rolling. It is similar to other activities like Free Running and is a great way to exercise and build up natural body strength. The great thing is you don't need anything to start, just the willingness to jump about!
