Three Rivers District in South West Hertfordshire straddles the north west corner of the M25 on the edge of Greater London. The district is a mixture of beautiful countryside, villages and small towns. The area has a diverse range of sectors and businesses and is a centre for the film industry with Warner Brothers at Leavesden forming part of a studio cluster along with Elstree and Pinewood is a short drive away.

The Department:-
Watersmeet is a 515 seat theatre venue owned and operated by Three Rivers District Council. The venue plays host to a variety of shows, films and events throughout the year including one night shows, NT Live screenings, the latest blockbuster movies, local theatre groups and an annual pantomime.

The Role:-
A varied and exciting role to assist Watersmeet management in achieving sales, attendance and footfall targets by providing marketing and sales support across all of Watersmeet’s activity with a particular focus on online marketing and social media.

You will be required to attend Stanmore College fortnightly to complete your Apprenticeship studies. 

What we are looking for:-
An enthusiastic and computer literate self-starter with a ‘can do’ attitude and a passion for marketing.

You will have excellent written and communications skills, and have the ability to build relationships quickly, being organised will be central to these role as you will be managing multiple social media streams.

Previous experience in theatre is not essential although would be an advantage. The successful applicant will be personable with a positive and performance focused attitude. Experience and regular use of social media is essential, with an eagerness and desire to develop online marketing skills.

18 month fixed term contract £15,392 per annum (£8ph)
