The Role:
Three Rivers District Council has an opportunity for a Land and Property Information Manager to take the lead role in the Land and Property Information team.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced candidate to take the lead on delivering a range of statutory and non-statutory Council services covering Local Land Charges, Street Naming and Numbering, Community Infrastructure Levy and the Corporate Land and Property Gazetteer. The role also includes responsibility for financial monitoring of S106 Legal Agreements and the administration of Assets of Community Value. This role is also first point of contact for the Office of National Statistics for CENSUS.
With management responsibilities for a small team of Officers, the successful candidate would lead on the full delivery of the above services. These services cover a wide corporate remit, and the successful candidate needs to demonstrate high quality and effective communication and organisation skills to support their liaison with other Council departments, external customers and statutory undertakers.
With provision of the Local Land Charges function, it is essential the candidate has knowledge of and experience in this area and can provide this service within current legislative requirements. The ability to use your own initiative and be comfortable adapting your skills to other work areas is key.
The varied role has a number of competing priorities, so any candidate needs to be confident in managing their own and others workloads to ensure a high quality level of service provision.
The Land and Property Information Team sits within the Regulatory Services department, in a Local Authority which prides itself in developing and supporting staff.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have 3 years minimum experience in a Local land Charges environment handling Local Land Charges and associated services. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their ability to lead, manage and successfully deliver services and projects.
Strong verbal and written skills with excellent attention to detail are essential. The candidate must be able to demonstrate their ability and initiative to handle a diverse and competing workload and work to tight deadlines.
Excellent interpersonal skills will be necessary as the position will involve liaising and negotiating with a range of stakeholders including the public, external agents and organisations, Council Members and other Council departments.

The salary range for the role is £38,748 - £47,282 per annum, inclusive of local weighting allowance. Access to your own transport is desirable for site visits.
