Each Operator has to have detailed written procedures in place and undergoes a
thorough inspection to ensure the welfare needs of the animals in their charge are
met.

Their licence should be displayed in a front facing place in the home/establishment
office. I would recommend you ask to see the licence of any one you choose to
leave your dog with.

A brief outline of the licensing process is on our website.

If you have any complaints about an operator, you can contact the Animal Welfare
& Licensing Inspector on 01923 776611.

Although every effort is made to keep the register up to date, new applications are
being submitted regularly, so please also call if you cannot see the operator you are
planning to use and need to check they are licensed.
