How Your Council Tax is Spent

As the billing authority, Three Rivers District Council has to calculate a Council Tax requirement and basic amount of Council Tax that includes the precepts it receives from the Parish Councils within its area. A precept is the amount each Parish asks the District Council to collect on its behalf.

Information about how the 2018/19 Council Tax has been calculated has been published in the TRDC 2018/19 Council Tax Leaflet (pdf)

Three Rivers also collects Council Tax on behalf of Hertfordshire County Council and the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire.
