About Three Rivers District Council
Three Rivers District in South West Hertfordshire straddles the north west corner of the M25 on the edge of Greater London. The district is a mixture of beautiful countryside, villages and small towns. The area has a diverse range of sectors and businesses and is a centre for the film industry with Warner Brothers at Leavesden forming part of a studio cluster along with Elstree and Pinewood is a short drive away.

The Role: Housing Navigator.
3 year fixed term contract. Full time, 37 hours per week.

What we are looking for:

We are looking for a motivated individual who will work to reduce the risk of repeat homelessness. The successful candidate will work alongside individuals to identify areas of support and how to meet their needs to successfully move them on to longer term accommodation. They will identify barriers, strengths and goals, with a focus on employability. They will encourage training and educational opportunities to empower individuals and work with partners to ensure the customers gets the best possible outcome. The candidate will participate in group forums with a strong focus on preventing rough sleepers in our District and actively work alongside Housing Options Officers to prevent homelessness.

What we offer:

£28,226 - £30,095 plus London weighting
