Three Rivers District in South West Hertfordshire straddles the north west corner of the M25 on the edge of Greater London. The area has a diverse range of sectors and businesses and is a centre for the film industry with Warner Brothers at Leavesden forming part of a studio cluster along with Elstree and Pinewood is a short drive away.

The Role:-
The role sits within the Council's Housing Services team and will advise developers, planners and Registered Providers of the Council’s housing mix requirements for sites, based on the latest Strategic Housing Market Assessments, the Core Strategy and the current Affordable Housing Supplementary Planning Document. The role also requires the post holder to lead on the development and delivery of relevant strategies and policies in Housing Services, including the Council’s Housing, Homelessness and Rough Sleeping Strategy.

What we are looking for:-
We are looking for an enthusiastic, resilient and driven individual with highly effective communication skills, the ability to adapt to changing priorities and the ability to work independently. The ideal candidate will have experience in the development and delivery of Housing strategy and policy and demonstrate the ability to effectively manage relationships with external and internal partners

£30,151 - £32,020 per annum (pro rata) excluding London Weighting
