Hillside Community Hub

The Hillside Community Hub is a partnership project between Three Rivers District Council, ASCEND, Watford & Three Rivers Trust and Watford Community Housing providing a drop-in facility for local residents to access a wide range of services and support. 

Where is The Hillside Community Hub?

The Hillside Community Hub is located on School Mead, Abbots Langley, WD5 0LA.


What support does The Hillside Community Hub Offer?

The Hillside Community Hub provides residents with access to a wide range of services and facilities to build up their skills, meet other local residents, improve their physical and mental wellbeing and access support from services. There will be set times and days when each organisation will be based at the Hillside Hub, this is to ensure a range of services is available. There is also space for private interviews.

For most services in the hub, you will need to book an appointment with the service you require. All contact details are below:

Ascend  

Ascend Careers Guidance Service providing information, advice and guidance as well as a range of workshops and skill building.

Alzheimer’s Society - Every 3rd Thursday of the Month

Drop in for information or advice from a Dementia support worker on memory related issues. For more information contact the Dementia Support Worker on 01701 378 365 or email central.herts.@alzheimers.org.uk.


Citizens Advice 

Providing advice on a range of topics including debt and benefits.

Healthy Hub Abbots Langley - Wednesday 9am-5pm

A "one stop shop" providing information, advice and support to improve your health and wellbeing.

Herts Mind Network Community Support Service

Providing advice, information and holistic outreach support to people who are experiencing mental ill-health or need help with their mental wellbeing.

Herts Mind Network Domestic Abuse Service

Providing support and advocacy to those experiencing domestic abuse, we will listen, offer advice, information and practical help to empower you and enhance your safety and wellbeing.

Access a free health check (For those aged 40-74 years of aged) to assess personal heart health, cholesterol levels, blood pressure and risk of diabetes.
