Hertfordshire County Council's action on the Climate Emergency

In addition to working at the local level Three Rivers District Council is working with the other 9 local authorities in Hertfordshire and the Herts County Council in a group called the Hertfordshire Climate Change and Sustainability Partnership (HCCSP). HCCSP is a strategic group which acts as the lead partnership organisation for partners to collaborate and identify joint work programmes on environmental, climate change and wider sustainability issues. For example the recent Solar Bulk Buy initiative and the countywide biodiversity baseline audit have both been HCCSP led projects. Together we are working on 6 key priority areas; namely Water, Biodiversity, Adaptation, Carbon, Transport and Behaviour Change. Action plans have or are being produced for these priories and the partnership works to deliver these actions. Further details can be found at: Progress (hccsp.org.uk)
