Have A Better Period

Everyone should have access to period products, and they shouldn't cost the Earth!

In the UK 1 in 10 people with periods can’t afford menstrual products,
and 1 in 7 have struggled to afford them.

200,000 tonnes of menstrual waste is landfilled every year in the UK.

A big-brand pack of 14 sanitary towels/ pads contains the same amount of plastic as 5 carrier bags.

Switching to reusable period products could save you up to 94% of your lifetime spend on these items.

Traditional and disposable period products, such as pads and tampons, are already available for free through local foodbanks, however this new pilot project will also make these disposable products accessible through the Healthy Hubs listed below, as well as providing sustainable options too in the form of FREE menstrual cups and reusable pads.
