Gardener - West Herts Crematorium

£22,369 - £23,620 plus £951 local allowance per annum

Salary will be pro-rated for the part-time post

We are looking to employ two Gardeners, one full-time and one part-time (20 hours per week) at the West Herts Crematorium, based on the Leavesden/Abbots Langley boarders.

 The successful candidates will have experience of working in ground maintenance, and knowledge of Health & Safety at work. A qualification in Horticulture would be an advantage but must be prepared to undertake additional training courses when required.

 You will provide a high standard of service to the Crematorium’s Gardens of Remembrance, maintenance for the flower terrace, cloisters and car parking areas, and have a sensitive approach to the needs of the bereaved.
