Three Rivers District in South West Hertfordshire straddles the north west corner of the M25 on the edge of Greater London. The district is a mixture of beautiful countryside, villages and small towns. The area has a diverse range of sectors and businesses and is a centre for the film industry with Warner Brothers at Leavesden forming part of a studio cluster along with Elstree and Pinewood is a short drive away.

The Department:
The Elections team are responsible for compiling and maintaining a register of electors and ensuring that elections are administered effectively without legal challenge.

The Role:
You will be expected to be the Council’s expert on all electoral matters. To be responsible for the management and delivery of all aspects of electoral registration and elections administration for the Council, meeting the standards set by the Returning Officer, Electoral Commission and Cabinet Office.

What we are looking for:
We are looking for an experienced elections professional that is a member of the AEA. You must have experience of electoral and registration law as well as a track record of high performance.

Salary range £36,823 to £45,357.
