The Croxley Green Neighbourhood Plan referendum has now taken place, to view the result please go to: www.threerivers.gov.uk/egcl-page/elections
On the 23 October 2018 the Council resolved that the Croxley Green Neighbourhood Plan (as modified) should proceed to referendum on 6 December 2018. It is the responsibility of Three Rivers District Council to organise the referendum for a Neighbourhood Development Plan. The Council’s Electoral Services will publish a ‘Notice of Referendum’ 25 working days before the day of the referendum.
Neighbourhood Planning Referendums are conducted in accordance with procedures which are similar to those used at local government elections.
The Croxley Green Neighbourhood Plan and associated documents are available to view below together with Information for Voters which provides more information about the referendum process.
Voters living in the Croxley Green Neighbourhood Area will receive a poll card similar to those used at elections and this will provide details of when and where they can vote on the Croxley Green Neighbourhood Plan.
If more than 50% of people voting in the referendum support the Plan, then the local planning authority must bring it into force. The Croxley Green Neighbourhood Plan once adopted will then become part of the Development Plan and Three Rivers District Council will use the Plan to help to decide planning applications in the Croxley Green Parish Area.
