Mentoring for Growth
This free scheme is designed to help businesses build up sales and bounce back from the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Mentoring for Growth programme offers specialist one-to-one mentoring to local small and medium-sized enterprises and start-up businesses from former business owners. The three-month scheme (launched in September 2021) is designed to help local businesses overcome the effects of multiple lockdowns and restrictions and into growth.
The council is working in partnership with business support specialists Smarter Society – which has previously worked with organisations including John Lewis and the NHS – to provide the new mentoring programme.

Three Rivers High Street Survey
Since March 2020 the world has changed dramatically – and we are keen to understand how our high streets have been affected. We want to understand what local customers need from their town centres and the businesses which operate within them. This information will help us support sustainable and vibrant high streets which meet current and future needs.
Your feedback, by completing this questionnaire, is vital in helping us achieve these aims. The information we collect will be kept in the strictest confidence and used for research purposes only. It will not be possible to identify any individual or address in the results.
The survey will close on 4 October.
