Three Rivers District in South West Hertfordshire straddles the north west corner of the M25 on the edge of Greater London. The Department:

The role is based in the Community Partnerships team in the Chief Executives Department. The team covers a wide range of services including Climate Change, Public Health, Anti-Social Behaviour, the Local Strategic Partnership, Community Safety Partnership and Corporate Support.

The Role:

We are looking for a Covid Community Engagement Officer to join us on a Fixed Term Contract for 10 months. The main aims of the role will be to reduce Covid-19 infection rates and enhance uptake of the Vaccination. The role will work with the Three Rivers community and partners to deliver of important, life changing and lifesaving health and wellbeing messages and activities. The role also seeks to bring about behaviour change by engaging with local residents and responding to changing needs. The role will work closely with the Police and Environmental Health Team to work on public compliance with Covid regulations.

What we are looking for:-

We are looking for someone with highly effective communication skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities, be reactive and experienced in community engagement. We are also looking for someone with good public health knowledge and experience of partnership working as well as good writing abilities.
