Three Rivers District Council are looking to recruit a Partnerships and Consultation Officer. The role is based in the Community Partnerships team in the Chief Executives Department. The team covers a wide range of services including Climate Change, Public Health, Anti-Social Behaviour, the Local Strategic Partnership, Community Safety Partnership and Corporate Support.
The Council are seeking a proactive individual, with a demonstrable skills to work across a wide and varied role. The post holder will have experience of partnership working and consultation development.
The partnership role will vary over time, although currently it will continue to support the Three Rivers Healthy Hub projects. You will also be responsible for the local Domestic Abuse Forum and Mental Health. The post holder will need to juggle workload and demands and will need good project management skills. You may find conflicting demands through the funders and the partners such as Public Health/Healthy Hub; and you need to manage and adapt to frequent developing issues or changing government policy.
The consultation role will require the post holder to be creative with consultations and how to engage with the public and our communities. You will need to present complex, sensitive information and will have strong communication skills. Specialist knowledge is required for consultation duties such as an ability to develop best practice guidance and understand appropriate methodologies for consultation. Knowledge of how to analyse and interpret consultation results is key to this role.
