Getting Together Clubs
At Getting Together Clubs, you can expect a variation of activities, suited to all abilities as well as meeting friends enjoying lunch and having fun.
We share memories, have weeks where you can focus solely on yourself with pampering sessions, talks and advice from professionals and weeks where our members set the agenda.
Our special interest groups – Singing Together, Cooking Together, Games Together, Guys Together, Movies Together and Art & Craft Together focus on what our members enjoy doing most, having fun together and learning new things.
We get out a lot too, with special trips twice a month. Coming up we have the old favourite – Clacton-on-Sea, a dash of culture at Bhaktivedanta Manor, and getting up close to the finest mother nature has to offer at Woburn Safari Park, plus many more.
Our big celebrations get everyone together, and are open to all. So far this year we have celebrated the Queen’s 90th birthday in 1940s style, and coming up in 2016 are celebrations for Black History Month and Older Persons Day, plus summer and Christmas parties.
As a project of Watford & Three Rivers Trust and funded by Herts County Council, clubs are free to attend, with charges for food, trips and celebrations. For more information on Getting Together Clubs, outings or celebrations, please contact us: 01923 216967 or visit www.gettingtogether.org
