Three Rivers District in South West Hertfordshire straddles the north west corner of the M25 on the edge of Greater London. The Committee Department is part of the Legal Team and reports to the Solicitor to the Council.

The Committee Team is responsible for meeting the Governance needs of the Leader of the Council, Deputy Leader of the Council, Lead Members, Group Leaders, Chairs of the Committees, Chair and Vice-Chair of the Council and other Elected Members
We provide support to the Chief Executive and Directors and provide advice to Officers of the Council on Committee processes and procedures.

The Role:-

Salary: £30,507 -£32,878

What we are looking for:-
For the role of PA/Committee Manager we are looking for someone who is highly organised, able and willing to work flexibly, be adept at meeting deadlines in pressurised circumstances, have excellent communication skills (both verbal and written) and excellent IT skills. Candidates should also be able to demonstrate innovation in initiating new ways of working.

You will be required to attend a range of formal Member-level meetings (the majority of which are held in the evening) and undertake associated tasks relating to their administration and management. You will work closely with elected Members and Senior Officers, providing professional advice on governance and constitutional issues and support to the Chief Executive and Directors.
