Casual Leisure Support Worker

Location: Across Three Rivers District
Salary: £7.85-£9.95 p/h
Contract: Casual

Role: We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with experience of or have an interest in working with children, young people and adults. You will need to be flexible in your attitude and approach as you may be required to work with varying age groups and on varying leisure activities in a relaxed and informal setting.

You may be asked to work at many different Leisure service sites:

  • Mill End Youth Project at William Penn Leisure Centre
  • Holiday Playschemes (Easter & Summer) across schools in the Three Rivers District
  • Play Rangers – open spaces & woodland areas in the Three Rivers District and at local schools
  • Croxley Green Skate Park
  • Two25 summer youth sports project
  • Working across the Sport, Art and Inclusive Leisure activities

You will receive full training and induction manuals detailing specific procedures.

Hours of work:

Hours could vary between 8.00am – 8pm, Monday – Friday, term-time and school holidays. This is dependent on the site you will be working at. Regular/Occasional weekend work.

Training: The post holder will be required to complete the following mandatory training before starting their role:

  • Staff induction
  • Safeguarding
  • First Aid

The candidate must ensure that they are available for the training (training dates below).

Recruitment dates:

This job is seasonal, therefore recruitment will happen at certain dates of the year. Please note of the dates below:

To work Easter 2019 – Monday 8th April – Thursday 18th April and Summer 2019 – Monday 22nd July - 31st August (dates will be confirmed)
