Casual Leisure Support Worker
Starting salary from £9.50 per hour (dependent on role & project)
Additional pay for those with childcare qualifications working on childcare based sessions e.g. Playscheme / Play Rangers.
Yorke Mead Primary School and Across Three Rivers District (dependent on role & project)
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with experience of or have an interest in working with children, young people and adults. You will need to be flexible in your attitude and approach as you may be required to work with varying age groups and on varying leisure activities in a relaxed and informal setting.
You may be asked to work at many different Leisure service sites:
-Holiday Playschemes (Easter & Summer) across schools in the Three Rivers District. This Summer Playscheme will be at Yorke Mead Primary School in Croxley Green.
-Play Rangers – open spaces & woodland areas in the Three Rivers District and at local schools
-Croxley Green Skate Park
-Working across the Sport, Art and Inclusive Leisure activities.
You will receive full training and induction manuals detailing specific procedures.

Hours of work:
Hours could vary between 8am – 6pm, Monday – Friday, term-time and school holidays with occasional weekend work. This is dependent on the site / activity you will be working at.
The post holder will be required to complete the following mandatory training before starting their role:
The candidate must ensure that they are available for the training (training dates below). This role is seasonal. Please note the dates below:
16th – 22nd July 2022
First aid training is likely to run over the weekend.
Summer working dates:
Week 1 – 25th-29th July
Week 2 – 1st – 5th August
Week 3 – 8th – 12th August
Week 4 – 15th – 19th August
Priority will be given to applicants that can work the above dates.
Monday 20th June 2022
