The Role: Billing Officer

Salary: £28,779- £32,245 (inc of Local Weighting) 

Contract: 12 month fixed term period 

Location: Watford Borough Council, Town Hall Watford until October 2019 when the main office will be Three Rivers District Council, Rickmansworth with some travel to Watford Borough Council.

What we are looking for:- 

We are looking for an experienced Billing Officer to join our committed and fast moving Revenues Team. 

You will deal with all aspects of the billing and collection of Council Tax including dealing and responding to enquires received by the section in person, by telephone, through email or correspondence and update accounts where appropriate quickly and accurately, whilst maintaining a high level of customer service, balancing this with a need to maximise collection. 
You will also determine claims for discounts, disregards and exemptions, process refunds and issue required notices.
