Job Title: Apprentice National Non-Domestic Rating (NNDR) Apprentice Officer
Salary: £21,931 (inc of Local Weighting)
Contract: 18 month Fixed Term or Secondment
Hours: Full-time (37 hours per week) inclusive of 20% time off the job training
Location: Watford Borough Council, Town Hall Watford, with some travel to Three Rivers District Council.
The Department:- Revenues and Benefits Shared Services.
What we are looking for:-
We are looking for an enthusiastic Apprentice to join our committed and fast moving Revenues team.
You will provide support in the administration and collection of National Non-Domestic Rate (NNDR). You will support the team in processing information and updating accounts quickly and accurately, ensuring information held in respect of business rate payers is correct and up to date. Determine claims for exemptions, and rate reliefs, process refunds and issue notices.
The successful candidate will need excellent communication and interpersonal skills. As well as this busy role you will study for IRRV Level 4 Revenues and Welfare Benefits Practitioner.
