(School Mead, Abbots Langley)(Variation)

NOTICE is given that THREE RIVERS DISTRICT COUNCIL pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety and the amenities of the area proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to modify the existing Limited Waiting and Disabled Badge Holder restrictions within existing on-street parking bays on School Mead, Abbots Langley.

The effect of the Order is to introduce Limited Waiting restrictions (Monday-Saturday, 8am-6:30pm, 2 Hours, No Return within 2 Hours) within 14 parking bays on the western side of School Mead, in place of the existing “Monday-Saturday, 8am-6:30pm, 1 Hour, No Return within 2 Hours restriction”. Limited Waiting Restrictions with the same timings will also be implemented in 4 parking bays that are currently unrestricted. Additionally, the Order will introduce Disabled Badge Holder Only restrictions within the relocated disabled bays. The number of available on-street parking spaces on School Mead will remain the same.

NOTICE is given that THREE RIVERS DISTRICT COUNCIL pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety and the amenities of the area proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce Limited Waiting restrictions within existing off-street parking bays adjacent to School Mead, Abbots Langley.

The effect of the Order is to introduce Limited Waiting restrictions (Monday-Saturday, 8am-6:30pm, 2 Hours, No Return within 2 Hours) within 20 parking bays on the eastern side of School Mead.

NOTICE is given that THREE RIVERS DISTRICT COUNCIL pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety and the amenities of the area, proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to introduce Waiting and Stopping restrictions on High Elms Lane, Garston. The effect of the Order is to introduce Limited Waiting restrictions (Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm, 2 Hours, No Return within 2 Hours) within the currently unrestricted parking bays on the northern side of High Elms Lane. Garston. Additionally, the Order will introduce No Waiting at Any Time (Double Yellow Lines) restrictions, as well as No Stopping on School Entrance Markings (Mon-Fri 8am-5pm) restrictions on High Elms Lane.

NOTICE is given that THREE RIVERS DISTRICT COUNCIL pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety and the amenities of the area proposes under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to make the above Order:

The effect of the Order is to introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on Grovewood Close, Grove Way, Shire Lane (including the service road), Chorleywood Bottom, Common Gate Road and Clements Road, as well as No Waiting Monday-Friday 10am-11am (Single Yellow Line) restrictions on Grove Way and Shire Lane, new Permit Parking Areas on Grovewood Close and Haddon Road, and additional Permit Parking Bays for Zone ‘OZ’ on Chorleywood Bottom and Quickley Lane.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Three Rivers District Council (“the Council”), under arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council pursuant to section 19 of the Local Government Act 2000 and the Local Authorities (Arrangements for the Discharge of Functions) (England) Regulations 2000 and in exercise of the powers conferred upon the County Council by sections 32, 35 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, proposes to make the above Order.

The general effect of the Order would be to:

Introduce short stay, long stay and business parking in the Ferry car park, and to include in the original Order the Talbot Road car park where resident and business parking is allowed.

(Prohibition of Waiting and Loading) (NO.**) Order 2025

NOTICE is given that THREE RIVERS DISTRICT COUNCIL pursuant to arrangements made under  Section 19 Local Government Act 2000 and Local Authorities (Arrangements for the Discharge of  Functions) (England) Regulations 2000 with the Hertfordshire County Council, and in exercise of powers  conferred on that County under sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 of Part I of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic  Regulation Act 1984 and the Traffic Management Act 2004 and of all other enabling powers, and after  consultation with the Chief Officers of Police in accordance with Part III of Schedule 9 to the  aforementioned 1984 Act, proposes to make the above Order: 

The general effect of the Order is to introduce the following:

Double Yellow Line Restrictions 

  • Hyde Lane - at junction with Lower Road
  • Lower Road - east side at junction with Hyde Lane
  • Lower Road / Railway Terrace – west side to Langley Wharf
  • Primrose Hill – parts of both sides
  • Railway Terrace – parts of both sides
  • Toms Lane – extension of existing lines to include the railway bridge
