THREE RIVERS DISTRICT COUNCIL
TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDER
(ON-STREET PARKING PLACES, LOADING PLACES AND WAITING, LOADING AND STOPPING RESTRICTIONS) (NO.2) ORDER 2025
(VARIOUS ROADS, CHORLEYWOOD) (VARIATION)
ORDER NO.7 2026
NOTICE is given that THREE RIVERS DISTRICT COUNCIL pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety and the amenities of the area under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has made the above Order to introduce Waiting and Permit Parking restrictions on Various Roads in Chorleywood.
The effect of the Order is to introduce No Waiting at Any Time restrictions on Grovewood Close, Grove Way, Shire Lane, Shire Lane service road, Chorleywood Bottom, Common Gate Road and Clements Road. Single Yellow Line restrictions will also be introduced on Grove Way and Shire Lane. Permit Parking restrictions will be implemented on Grovewood Close, Haddon Road, Chorleywood Bottom and Quickley Lane.
The Order shall come into operation on 29 July 2026.
Documents giving more detailed particulars may be inspected at the offices of Three Rivers District Council, Three Rivers House, Northway, Rickmansworth WD3 1RL, during normal office hours.
Electronic copies of the Order, a statement of reasons for the making of the Order and drawings showing details of the scheme are available for inspection here:

If any person wishes to question the validity of the Order or of any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any instrument made under the Act has not been complied with that person may, within six weeks from the date the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
Issuing Notice of this scheme is a statutory duty of the District Council. All data resulting from this Notice will be collected and held and processed by Three Rivers District Council and may be shared with TRDC Officers and District Councillors. Letters will be issued to residents eligible to apply for permits in the new scheme

NOTICE is given that THREE RIVERS DISTRICT COUNCIL pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council in order to improve road safety and the amenities of the area under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, has made the above Order
The general effect of the Order is to introduce residents parking places, limited waiting parking places and waiting restrictions in: Gosforth Lane, Henbury Way, Otley Way, Turnberry Court
The Order shall come into operation on 29 July 2026.

(VARIATION) ORDER No.6 2026
NOTICE is given that THREE RIVERS DISTRICT COUNCIL pursuant to arrangements made with Hertfordshire County Council has made the above Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 and all other enabling powers. The effect of the Order is to:
- Include within the order, on-street parking places, loading places and waiting, loading and stopping restrictions as shown within the proposed map tiles and amend the Map Tile List.
- Remove the provision of 50% discount applicable in respect of one-day residents’ visitor’s permits applicable to residents who are over 60 years of age.
- Remove the availability of annual residents’ visitors permit.
The proposals are necessary to help preserve the amenities in the area.
The Order shall come into operation on 6 July 2026.

Existing Traffic Regulation Orders
Parking restrictions in the district, and the conditions of use of permitted parking areas, are defined in Traffic Regulation Orders. If a new restriction is introduced, a new Traffic Regulation Order must be created in order to give the restriction legal authority. Traffic Regulation Orders enacted by Three Rivers District Council are listed below, this is not an exhaustive list. Please note, Hertfordshire County Council is responsible for highways, and they will also make Traffic Regulation Orders which apply in Three Rivers district which are not listed here.
