Ebury play area (Rickmansworth Aquadrome)

This well-loved play area in Rickmansworth was refurbished and reopened to the public in July 2026.

While children are swinging on the new swings, going down on the large slide, having fun in the play hut, climbing the ropes of the wooden hilltop tower, balancing on the balance log, playing hide and seek in the riverbank hut, crawling through the tunnels or spinning on the spinning dish, families can watch from the comfortable picnic benches and seating area. Rickmansworth Aquadrome play space

A play area with a feeling of wildness, nature discovery and imagination. The natural tree trunks  create a ‘wow’ factor and they will look like the tree trunks have always been there.

Eastbury play area

Designed with help from Eastbury Farm School pupils, explore the willow tunnel, climb the tower, criss-cross and swing through your adventure. This play space is where active, social and imaginative play arise naturally from the environment.
