Spend time with the whole family to solve riddles and puzzles with interactive virtual animals as a Summer Trail is introduced to three locations across Three Rivers.

Throughout August, residents and visitors can enjoy an interactive adventure, designed for all ages as Three Rivers District Council launch the Animal Games Summer Trail. Meet team GB characters at the Animal Games and complete mini challenges to win a prize.

Created in collaboration with High Street Safari, the summer trails in Rickmansworth Aquadrome, Leavesden Country Park and Oxhey Woods offer participants an interactive and engaging experience involving riddles, clues and puzzles. Visit the 10 stops and scan the QR codes – participants will be presented with fun challenges and puzzles to complete before they meet the contestants in augmented reality.

Once all 10 stops in the trail are complete, participants can take selfies and make videos with the contestants before downloading their free digital prize.

Cllr Chris Lloyd, Lead Member for Leisure said: “This is a fun and engaging way to enjoy our fantastic parks and open spaces with the whole family. With trails at three amazing parks and open spaces there are plenty of choices of where to explore!

“These trails bring physical and mental health benefits – encouraging families to get outdoors and have fun together. We would like to give special thanks to Waitrose Rickmansworth, who have kindly donated towards the Rickmansworth Aquadrome trail.”
