The Three Rivers Neighbourhood Watch work with the Hertfordshire Constabulary to offer advice and training on crime prevention, including advice on setting up and running a Neighbourhood Watch scheme.
Hertfordshire Neighbourhood Watch uses Herts Connected to send out local crime alerts. If you live or work in Hertfordshire, you can sign up for the service to receive notifications about crime and local issues sent by email or SMS.
Three Rivers Community Safety Partnership Closed-circuit television (CSP CCTV) cameras are placed around the district to record images of the street under the Criminal Justice and Public order Act 1994 and as part of the Council’s duty under the Crime and Disorder Act 1998.
CCTV cameras are currently located at:
- Prestwick Road/Station Approach, South Oxhey
- Delta Gain shopping parade, Carpenders Park
- Otley Way, South Oxhey
- Hayling Road, South Oxhey
- Langley Road, Abbots Langley
- Katherine Place shopping parade, Abbots Langley
- Furtherfield/South Way, Abbots Langley
- Rickmansworth High Street, Rickmansworth
- King George V playing fields, Mill End
All images recorded are stored for up to 25 days and access to this footage can be obtained as below:
Request CCTV footage
Public access to the TRCSP CCTV system can be accessed by visiting the Hertfordshire CCTV website
If the request is in relation to an incident that has been reported to the police, the member of public must contact the relevant police force as no footage relating to a crime will be released to anyone other than the police.
