National Customer Service Week was launched by the Institute of Customer Service – with the aim to raise awareness of customer service and the vital role it plays in successful business practice and the growth of the UK economy.
Each day has its own theme:
· Monday – Digital Inclusion
· Tuesday – Service with Respect
· Wednesday – Customer Service as a Profession
· Thursday – Driving Sustainable Growth
· Friday – Service Recognition Day
Cllr Sarah Nelmes, Leader of Three Rivers District Council, said: “Local authorities are the most interesting organisations as they deliver so many diverse and essential services for residents and businesses, such as planning, revenues and benefits, waste, education, transport and so much more.
“National Customer Service Week is not only an opportunity to highlight the excellent customer service Three Rivers District Council provides but also gives us the chance to say a big thank you to all the staff for their continued dedication to making Three Rivers a great place to live, work and visit.
“As leader of the council, I would like to say thank you!”
