All parking charges and parking enforcement for most contraventions have been suspended by the council until further notice in a bid to help key workers and residents during lockdown.

All parking charges and parking enforcement for most contraventions have been suspended by the council until further notice in a bid to help key workers and residents during lockdown.

The suspension of parking enforcement includes residential controlled parking zones. However, double and single yellow lines are still being enforced to stop any dangerous parking and to keep traffic flowing.

The suspension applies until further notice.

Cllr Stephen Giles-Medhurst, Lead Member for Transport and Economic Development, said: “In line with government guidelines, we continue to make appropriate adjustments to our services. We hope this action further helps our key workers and local communities. Yellow lines, loading bays and disabled parking will still be enforced to help keep essential vehicles moving.”

Any enquiries about parking enforcement should be directed to Hertsmere Borough Council, which provides the parking enforcement service on behalf of Three Rivers District Council. Call 020 8207 7422 or email trdc.parkingservices@hertsmere.gov.uk
