With cases of Covid-19 on the rise, there are now more chances for people in Three Rivers to get vaccinated at a series of pop-up clinics.

Pfizer vaccination clinics will take place in Mill End on Tuesday 20 July and Tuesday 27 July at Berry Lane Methodist Church.

A Pfizer vaccination clinic will also be held on Thursday 29 July at Merchant Taylors’ School in Moor Park.

All clinics run between 1pm and 7pm and are for anyone aged 18 or over. Both first and second jabs are being offered, but anyone attending to get a second dose must have received their first Pfizer dose at least eight weeks before.

Places can be booked in advance or walk in on the day.

The clinics have been organised by Three Rivers District Council in partnership with Herts Valleys CCG, Hertfordshire Community NHS Trust, Manor View Practice, Mill End Community Trust, Berry Lane Methodist Church and Merchant Taylors’ School.

Cllr Sarah Nelmes, Leader of Three Rivers District Council, said: “I urge anyone who hasn’t already been fully vaccinated to take advantage of these clinics. By having both jabs you will reduce the risk of becoming seriously ill and needing hospital treatment. The jab is quick, easy and painless and you will be helping to protect both yourself and your loved ones.”
