Good vibrations at Rickmansworth High Street

There were good vibrations at Rickmansworth High Street as Three Rivers District Council showed its support for accessibility and inclusion.
Good Vibrations, a local non-profit organisation that aims to protect and improve peoples’ mental health through the power of music, joined officers for a musical performance outside Iceland.
The performance was on Purple Tuesday (4 November), a global social movement that focuses on improving customer experience for disabled people, to highlight how the accessibility of businesses can be improved.
Cllr Steve Drury, Lead Member for Community Partnership, Public Safety and Housing, said: “Bravo to Good Vibrations for their magnificent performance that really shined a light on accessibility and inclusion.
“Every day, the council strives to be accessible and inclusive – it’s not a one-day commitment. By marking Purple Tuesday with a fantastic musical performance, it’s a good opportunity to stop and reflect on how we can make the district more welcoming and inclusive, while inspiring and celebrating business leaders in our area to drive positive changes for disabled customers and employees.”
