Help shape the next chapter of the Rickmansworth Aquadrome by coming down to the council’s engagement events.

Residents and visitors are invited to come down to the nature reserve to meet Marcus Day, Three Rivers District Council’s Community Engagement Officer for the Rickmansworth Aquadrome Project, which is funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund.

“I cannot wait to speak to as many people as I can about the wonderful Aquadrome and the exciting plans we have in store for the site that will be a win-win for our residents and visitors as well as the unique wildlife that call the site their home,” said Marcus.

“From sport activities to nature walks, the Aquadrome has something for everybody. If you see me at the Aquadrome and have any questions about the Rickmansworth Aquadrome Project or want to share ideas about the nature reserve, please don’t hesitate to approach me. I am keen to learn what you value most about the Aquadrome and what new opportunities you would like to see in the future.”

Throughout January until 11 February, Marcus will be at the Aquadrome from 12pm to 2pm outside Café in the Park every Wednesday. Changes to the times and dates will be advertised on the council’s social media channels.

The multi-year Rickmansworth Aquadrome Project aims to safeguard and enhance the nature reserve. It hopes to achieve a balance so that nature can flourish, and visitors can connect with and discover the beautiful and unique habitats of the site. You can read more about the project on the council’s website.
