Council Fuel Poverty Grant

Funding available to eligible households to help with the the cost of installing energy efficiency measures including insulation, solar panels, draught proofing and more

The council has a limited amount of funding available for eligible households in Three Rivers to get help with the cost of installing energy efficiency measures, such as loft, wall, and underfloor insulation, solar panels, draught proofing, repair or replacement of heating systems, and more.

The grant is intended to support households who are not eligible for other grant schemes.

To qualify for the grant:

  • You must own your own home or privately rent; AND;
  • Your property must have an Energy performance Certificate rating of D, E, F, or G. (You can check your home’s EPC rating here: https://www.gov.uk/find-energy-certificate) AND;
  • Your household income must meet the relevant criteria below:

1£46,000 per year
2 or more£56,000 per year

If you or someone in the household has a health condition that makes them more vulnerable to the cold (e.g. cardiovascular condition, respiratory disease, limited mobility or immunosuppression) an additional £5,000 can be added to the annual household income limits above.
