Local Strategic Partnership

In December 2024 the Local Strategic Partnership (LSP) and Community Safety Board (Responsible Authorities Group) merged to form the Connecting Three Rivers Board. Connecting Three Rivers produces the Community Strategy for Three Rivers District. It includes partner organisations and forums that work towards achieving the priorities for the district.

Connecting Three Rivers vision

The Partnership has a vision to improve the quality of life for the people of Three Rivers by working in partnership to create a better place for everyone, including neighbourhoods, health, employment, community safety and access to services. This is done by creating a Community Strategy and action plans to achieve the objectives outlined in the strategy.

The Partnership oversees the Connecting Three Rivers Fund which is a community donation site, to fund projects that will achieve the objectives of the Community Strategy.

The Connection Three Rivers Board

The LSP Board is made up of senior representatives from the following public, private and voluntary and community sector organisations based in and around the district:

• Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner for Hertfordshire
• Three Rivers Citizens Advice Bureau
• Thrive Homes
• Watford Community Housing
• Herts and West Essex ICB

• Herts Mind Network
• Watford and Three Rivers Trust
• One Vision
• Watford FC Community Sports and Education Trust
• National Probation Service
• Herts Fire and Rescue Service
• School Pastoral Lead
• Homegroup

The partnership works to Terms of Reference (PDF), which is agreed upon by all partners.

Meetings of the Board are held four times a year and are open to the public. If you have an issue you would like the Board to consider, email enquiries@threerivers.gov.uk.

Confidential items relating to Community Safety will not be held in public due to the nature of sensitive data being reviewed on crime and disorder. If you attend a Connecting Three Rivers meeting, you may be asked to leave when the confidential meeting begins. Details of the confidential meeting will not be published but emailed to Board members in advance.
