Three Rivers and Watford Youth Action Panel
Purpose
The Three Rivers and Watford Youth Action Panel brings together local partners to share information and coordinate actions that support young people at risk. Operating within legal frameworks, the panel focuses on early intervention and a joined-up response to prevent crime and anti-social behaviour.
Our Objectives
We take a multi-agency approach to manage risk and support young people who may be:
- Involved in, or at risk of, criminal or anti-social behavious
- Victims of crime or exploitation
- At risk of becoming either a perpetrator or a victim
Who We Support
The panel considers young people who are at risk of involvement in:
- Criminal activity (e.g. exploitation, drug dealing, gang involvement)
- Anti-social behaviour
Please note: Safeguarding concerns must be reported through your organisation’s safeguarding procedures immediately and should not be delayed for discussion at the panel.
Roles & Duties
Key responsibilities of the panel include:
- Discussing specific individuals and sharing relevant information across agencies
- Agreeing necessary actions and interventions
- Highlighting emerging individuals who may be at risk or pose a risk to others
Meetings
- Meetings are held every four weeks via Microsoft Teams from 13:30 to 14:30
- All attendees are required to sign the Community Safety Information Sharing Agreement
- Cases for discussion should be submitted in advance, though there will be time to raise urgent matters during the meeting
- Meeting papers will be circulated at least three days in advance
- Notes and actions will be shared within 1–2 weeks following each meeting
