Three Rivers DBS applications go online
Three Rivers District Council licensing team are pleased to announce that from 3 December 2018 all Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) applications will be processed online
Hackney Carriage Drivers, Private Hire Operators and Drivers will no longer be required to come to the Council in person to complete a paper application. Instead, they will be able to apply online from the comfort of their home or via their mobile phones.
The application process takes approximately five minutes to complete.
Sara Bedford, Leader of the Council, said: “We are committed to improving our procedures so that we can improve our processing times and help our users manage their information quickly and easily.”
Applicants will only be coming the Council offices to provide ID documentation and make payment for the application. Drivers and Operators will no longer be restricted to booking an appointment on a Tuesday; they will now be able to come on any day at their convenience.
