Thanks to the cooperation of its residents and the dedication of the Council staff, Three Rivers District tops the recycling rates in Hertfordshire.

Thanks to the cooperation of its residents and the dedication of the Council staff, Three Rivers District tops the recycling rates in Hertfordshire.

Three Rivers recycling rate continues to improve with a rate of 63% in 2018/19, up from 62.4% the previous year.

Cllr Phil Williams, Lead Member for Environmental Services and Sustainability, said: “The Council thanks all its residents for their continued efforts to recycle. A recycling rate of 63% is a considerable achievement.’’

“Please carry on thinking about waste reduction, prevention and reuse. Keep recycling the right things, in the right way.”
