Take on the Santa Needs You Trail for festive fun and adventure
Celebrate the holiday season in a truly magical way as Three Rivers District Council presents the exciting Christmas Trail at Leavesden Country Park.
Starting Monday, 2 December, families can embrace the festive spirit outdoors by tackling the Santa Needs You Challenge Trail. Solve riddles and puzzles at 10 stops scattered across the park's north and south sections for a chance to win a prize.
Running until Wednesday, 1 January 2025, the trail is entirely free and designed for all ages to enjoy. Created in collaboration with outdoor geo-games developer High Street Safari, it promises an interactive and entertaining experience.
Councillor Stephen Giles-Medhurst, Leader of Three Rivers District Council, said: “I am glad to announce the return of the Christmas Trail. Events like these are important for upholding community spirit, especially during the colder months. The Christmas trail at Leavesden Country Park is a brilliant opportunity for residents of all ages to take in the natural beauty of our district and spend some quality time outdoors.”
Participants can join the fun by visiting the 10 stops in any order, using a smartphone to scan QR codes or entering URLs printed beneath them. Each stop unlocks digital stamps, engaging puzzles, and riddles, along with augmented reality characters and selfie masks.
After completing the trail, participants can snap a prize badge selfie and download a complimentary e-book. Remember to use the same browser and device to collect characters throughout the trail.
