In keeping with the Young Masters tradition at Artistsmeet, Rickmansworth School will return to the gallery with another varied exhibition of lovingly created artworks, created within the Art and Photography departments.

GCSE and A Level students have been setting aside paintings, drawings and photographs for the exhibition, whilst studying for their busy exam and coursework periods.

Councillor Chris Lloyd, Lead Member for Leisure, Wellbeing and Health said, “We are delighted to be working in partnership with a local school for this exhibition. There are many talented young people studying creative subjects locally and this is an excellent opportunity to celebrate their work and provide them with public exposure.”

The ‘Young Masters’ exhibition opportunity created back in 2015 never fails to attract lots of visitors to the gallery space, many of whom are surprised by the talent of such young, high calibre artists!

“The local community always enjoy this popular exhibition, and anything which enables children or young people to showcase the skills they learn and the pieces of work they create within their studies. People show a real interest and support and it’s a great feeling to see the look of pride on the exhibitors faces!” said Elaine Johnson, Arts Development Officer and exhibition programmer.
