Sarratt Neighbourhood Plan to go out for local vote

A document that lays out planning policies for the Sarratt Parish will soon go out for local referendum.
The draft Sarratt Neighbourhood Plan has been produced by Sarratt Parish Council and local residents in order to create a paper that provides policies for potential developments within the area.
Neighbourhood plans allow communities to develop a shared vision for their specific areas, giving more control over the type, location, size and design of development. It does not allocate sites for housing.
The parish-wide referendum will take place on Thursday 6 November at polling stations within Sarratt Village Hall. Should the result be positive, a meeting of Full Council at Three Rivers District Council will be recommended to adopt the Sarratt Neighbourhood Plan.
Residents can vote in the referendum if they live in the Parish of Sarratt, are registered to vote in local council elections and are 18 years of age or over on Thursday 6 November 2025.
Residents must be registered to vote by midnight Tuesday 21 October 2025 to vote in the referendum. Find out more here.
