This summer explore our parks and open spaces with the Animal Games Summer Trails! 

Throughout August, the Animal Games Trails will be at Rickmansworth Aquadrome, Leavesden Country Park and Oxhey Woods - the perfect reason to explore the outdoors with the whole family this summer.

The Summer Trails are completely free and designed for visitors of all ages to enjoy - so come along and meet team GB at the Animal Games, see them in action, complete mini challenges and win a prize.

How to play

The trail works by utilising contactless QR codes, without the need for players to download or sign up to anything.

To take part simply:

1. Test the Augmented Reality on your device: https://highstreetsafari.com/animal-games
2. Visit the 10 stops, in any order, using the maps (see Leavesden Country Park, Rickmansworth Aquadrome or Oxhey Woods)
3. Scan their QR codes with your phone’s camera
4. Complete mini-sporting challenges
5. Meet the contestants in augmented reality
6. Take selfies and make videos with the contestants
7. Claim your free digital prize!

How do I scan QR codes?

Most modern phones now automatically scan QR codes simply by opening your camera app and pointing at them. If your phone doesn’t have this capability you can download an app that reads QR codes instead.
