New Covid measures - the so-called Plan B - have been announced by the government to help slow the spread of the new Omicron variant. As part of this, the following preventative measures will be introduced.

New Covid measures - the so-called Plan B - have been announced by the government to help slow the spread of the new Omicron variant. As part of this, the following preventative measures will be introduced.

From Friday 10 December

Wear a face covering in most public indoor venues,  including cinemas and theatres (excluding hospitality venues such as pubs and restaurants).

From Monday 13 December

Work from home if you can.

From Wednesday 15 December

Show proof of two vaccine doses via the NHS Covid-19 Pass app or a negative lateral flow test for entry into venues where large crowds gather, such as nightclubs.
