Investigation works at Aquadrome
Investigation works are set to be carried out at the Rickmansworth Aquadrome to help gain a better understanding of the ground conditions for planned site enhancements.
Three Rivers District Council’s contractor will be undertaking a routine asbestos survey of the Aquadrome during March. This survey is a standard precautionary measure to identify any potential risks prior to improvement works and is of no risk to the public. All activities will be undertaken by qualified specialists in accordance with regulatory requirements and approved safety procedures.
All works will be carefully planned and carried out to minimise the risk of asbestos fibre release to both investigation teams and others on site. Appropriate exclusion zones and safety measures will be in place to ensure activities are managed responsibly, acknowledging the known presence of asbestos in the ground.
