This autumn, the paths of the Rickmansworth Aquadrome will be transformed into an interactive spooky mission with a Halloween themed QR trail.
Three Rivers District Council, in collaboration with High Street Safari, is launching a Halloween adventure for families from 16 October – 15 November. The Totally Spooking Out Trail provides the perfect opportunity for a fun and free way to celebrate Halloween as a family.
As you follow the map around the Aquadrome, you will find 10 different stops. At each stop, simply scan the QR code with a modern smartphone to discover which Halloween character mask you can virtually try on before taking a spooky selfie! Witches, mummies and ghouls are just some of the classic Halloween characters ready to burst into life.
Cllr Chris Lloyd, Three Rivers District Council’s Lead Member for Leisure said: “I am delighted that we are bringing the interactive trail back for Halloween.
“Over the summer, an estimated 5.9 million steps were taken at the two interactive trails – it is fantastic to see families taking the opportunity to get outdoors and get active.
“Let’s see if we can match that step count over the Autumn, with the interactive trail providing the perfect reason to get outdoors and have fun!”
The trail is free of charge and takes approximately 45 minutes – families can complete the trail in one go, or over several visits. Once all 10 stops have been found and the trail is complete; you can unlock a free digital prize!
