Supporting the Armed Forces
In this section
A career in the Armed Forces can significantly affect your daily life as well as the lives of your family members. As a result, we recognise that the Armed Forces community is in need of considerable support. As part of this commitment, Three Rivers District Council has an Armed Forces Champion - Cllr Sarah Nelmes, and are proud to have signed up to the Armed Forces Covenant.
Armed Forces Day is a chance to show your support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community: from currently serving troops to Service families, veterans and cadets. There are many ways for people, communities, and organisations across the country to show their support and get involved.
Armed Forces Day takes place on the last Saturday each June.
