The Green and Stones Orchard

Large open space and orchard in Croxley Green

The Green and Stones Orchard are welcoming green spaces in Croxley for the enjoyment of the local community that preserves and celebrates the rich heritage of the sites as well as its biodiversity. The Green is a large area of Common Land, compromising of grassland and memorial trees. Community events are often held here, bringing the local residents together. Stones Orchard is a 19th century orchard with a range of veteran fruit trees among wildflower rich grassland and hedgerows. Both sites hold Local Wildlife Site status and sits within the Croxley Green Conservation Area. Stones Orchard is also designated as a Traditional Orchard, a UK Biodiversity Action Plan priority habitat.
